Forrest Yoga at JAI Yoga Studio

We are happy to introduce this particularly transformative form of yoga to the suburbs!

Forrest Yoga is a deeply transformative form of yoga that challenges practitioners to access their whole being. Founder Ana Forrest developed the yoga style as a way to work through her own healing, modifying yoga poses to address ailments and concerns prevalent today such as neck and shoulder injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome and digestive issues. Forrest Yoga not only focuses on healing physical maladies but also loss of spirit.

As an intensely physical and internally focused practice, Forrest Yoga challenges students to access their whole being helping them remove emotional and mental roadblocks both on and off of the mat. Students are taught how to breathe deeply connecting with the whole body. Through poses, students become strong and centered while awakening the senses. Classes ignite the spirit and allow you to rejoice in your true self.

Forrest Yoga Classes are offered Wednesdays at 9:30AM and 7:00PM. Additionally Saturday classes are occasionally offered. We are honored to have instructor Nancy O’Toole teaching our Forrest Yoga Classes. Classes are $17 for drop in. Package, student, teacher, military and senior discounts are available.

JAI Yoga Studio is located at 37 E. Northwest Highway in Palatine. Our purpose is to offer a place to support your personal journey toward a healthy lifestyle. We offer a variety of classes from gentle, therapeutic classes to hot, intense intermediate classes and everything in between.
