What: The annual Community Christmas Concert Series is 5 free concerts for the community and the venues in the Northwest suburbs of metropolitan Chicago, featuring Barb Kronau-Sorensen. The concerts take place in beautiful locations sought out by independent record label/entertainment production company Emerald City Music Productions, Inc.

Barb Kronau-Sorensen is a singer/songwriter from Palatine, IL. She is known internationally for her original acoustic pop/rock and traditional German, and Norwegian folk singing.
This year the first concert in the series takes place at St. John's Lutheran Church in Algonquin, IL. We invite you to come and enjoy a fun, festive and intimate candle lit holiday concert featuring traditional German, English and Norwegian Christmas songs sung in their native languages and translated for the audience. Barb will also be bringing her box of handheld percussive instruments for the audience to sing and play along with A great way to add fun to the Christmas holidays this year!
