FREE Textile Recycling April 15th, 8:00-12:00

Palatine Lions & Palatine Township are beginning the 2023 annual FREE environmental collection events. Shredding & Electronics coming soon.

Our previous textile collection in October 2022 filled a large truck.  If you have items to donate please help us fill another truck on April 15th.

The Palatine Lions Club and Palatine Township are beginning their annual FREE environmental collection events for 2023. The Textile Recycling will be held April 15th from 8:00-12:00. A list of acceptable items can be found at https://www.toi.org/cook-county-palatine-township/cook-county-palatine-township-events/textile-recycling/

A Shredding/Document Destruction event will be May 6th (8:30-11:30). Electronics Recycling will be June 10th (8:00-12:00) and a 2nd Textile collection will be October 15th (8:00-12:00).

The Palatine Lions Club began their partnership with Palatine Township in 2011 when the first Electronics Recycling took place. Since that time over 25 environmental events have taken place whereby thousands of pounds of electronics, paper and textiles were recycled and rescued from ending up in landfills.
