Fresh off of being named a Harper College Athlete of the Week and NJCAA Region IV Div. III Player of the Week last week, Hawks women’s basketball player Tamara Zivak (/Barrington) was recognized by the region once again. Zivak was named a Women’s Basketball Player of the Week in today’s Region IV Report.
The 5-foot-11 freshman played only one game last week, but she made it count. Zivak scored a team-best 16 points, grabbed four rebounds, and blocked a shot in 28 minutes at previously nationally-ranked Triton College on Wednesday night.

In 23 games (seven starts) this season, Zivak holds averages of 8.5 PPG and 5.1 RPG.
