Gators Wing Shack to Honor Palatine First Responders with Free Wings on September 11

On September 11, Gators Wing Shack will once again put its appreciation for the local community into action by honoring the men and women who serve Palatine as police officers, firefighters and EMTs.

In recognition of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Gators Wing Shack is inviting active Palatine first responders to enjoy a special thank-you meal on Friday, September 11, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

First responders can choose 10 bone-in wings or a half-pound of boneless wings, in any flavor, and will also receive a free commemorative Gators 30th Anniversary glass, while supplies last. The offer is available for both dine-in and carry-out.

“We have tremendous respect for the people who put themselves on the line every day to protect and care for our community,” said Neil Jolcover, co-owner of Gators Wing Shack. “September 11 is a day when we remember the incredible sacrifices made by first responders, and we wanted to do something meaningful to show our appreciation for the first responders right here in Palatine.”

For the Gators family, supporting the community has always been an important part of being a neighborhood restaurant.

“Gators has been part of the Palatine community for 25 years, and we’ve watched generations of families come through our doors,” said David Weiss, co-owner of Gators Wing Shack. “The police officers, firefighters and EMTs who serve this community are our customers, our neighbors and our friends. This is just one small way we can say thank you for everything they do.”

To redeem the offer, active Palatine Police, Fire Department and EMT personnel must be in uniform or present a valid badge or ID. The offer is valid on Friday, September 11, 2026, only.
