Girls on the Town is Back and Better Than Ever Friday, July 23!
Downtown Palatine is the place to celebrate fully reopened small businesses as they feature specials, sales, raffles, wine, food and more!
After enduring an incredibly challenging year, the Downtown Palatine Business Association (DPBA) member businesses are thrilled to celebrate the return of Girls on the Town! After being cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, this popular event is back and will be better than even on Friday, July 23 from 5 – 9 p.m.
Area residents are invited to explore the unique and eclectic businesses of Palatine’s quaint downtown and DPBA members look forward to opening their doors to area ladies (and gentlemen) as they feature specials, sales, raffles and more along with appetizers, sweet treats and wine tastings at select locations!
Mark your calendar now and get a group together for the summer return of this event. Specialty stores, including gift shops, salons and spas, boutique clothing and accessories/apparel, along with fine kitchenware and other service providers will host special sales and raffles. It promises to be a fun and exciting evening on the town!

“Although the name ‘Girls on the Town’ makes it seem like it’s an event exclusively for women, men are warmly encouraged to join in on the fun, too,” said DPBA President Mica Mahler. “Palatine’s downtown is the perfect place to reunite with friends now that the state has fully reopened, and to show support for our small businesses who have survived a truly tough year.”
Passports for the event are $10 and can be purchased on the night of the event at any participating location. In addition to the sales and specials offered, guests can purchase raffle tickets to win gift baskets filled with gift certificates from DPBA members.
