GirlScouts and Zombies! ..... HTZGCH #4

Members of the local Girl scout troupe led by Deborah Cooley are joining in the 4th annual Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt! in Palatine. These zombies will be protecting the clue buckets at various locations. When the players arrive they will need to outwit or outrun the zombies to get to the clue buckets. If they cannot get around them, the zombies may demand a gold chocolate coin or two, or three....

Players are equipped with a limited supply of gold chocolate coins and will need to negotiate carefully with zombies.

The4th Annual Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt! is an all ages family friendly scavenger hunt that uses digital and traditional technology to send players into local participating businesses for an interactive fun activity. It also has the players do light community service work en route.

Tickets this year are $20 for Adults, $10 for Children and include goodybags and the awards celebration after the event in the evening.

The Hunt! begins at 330 W Colfax Ave., Suite 101 (West end of the Johnson Building on Colfax Avenue).

The Hunt! runs between 9am and 7pm. The players may start, stop, and re-start their games at any point on the routes on their own time and schedule. Of course the goal for the players is to get in as many locations as possible in as short a period of time as possible.

There is an awards celebration after the Hunt! in the evening from 7:30pm till 10:00 pm that includes Food, music and prizes.
