Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt 2017! in Palatine supports the Palatine Food Pantry

The Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt is asking players to bring food items in support of the Palatine Food Pantry.

Get extra bonus points in the game if you bring a food item for the Palatine Food Pantry!
The 3rd Annual Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt in Palatine takes place on Saturday October 28th, 2017! 9:00 A.M - 7:00 P.M.

This year's fun and adventures begin at 330 W. Colfax Avenue, Suite 101 (West end of the building)

9:00 am and runs all day until 7:00 pm. There is an awards celebration with
refreshments, live music and prizes for players and participating businesses, from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm.

If you bring an item for the food pantry, you get extra points towards the prizes! Bring the
item to the entrance of the game when you check in.

*Players may start, stop and restart from where they left off the game at any point during the day.

What is the Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt?

Its fun! It's silly!! It's scary!!!! It's Community!!!! And it's an adventure that challenges you as far as you can go!!!!

The Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt 2017! is an all ages scavenger hunt produced by Emerald City Music Productions, Inc. of Palatine, that utilizes digital technology to send players into local Palatine
businesses for a fun interactive activity. The routes also include light community service work.

There are prizes for the players as well as for the businesses (funniest, scariest, most memorable)


This is the third year Emerald City Music Productions, Inc, is producing this event.
Some of it will be messy, some will be tricky, some will be things you mightnever have thought of before and all of it is a fun challenge for your wits!"

What's required to play the game?

1) A smartphone that can locate GPS coordinates, receive texts, images, sound bytes and video snippet clues. 2) Transportation. We'd like to suggest a car, but a bicycle or motorbike will do too. We've added new bicycle friendly routes this year.

4) Your brain!

This year's ticket prices are:

$20 Adults (Ages 18+)
$10 Children (Ages 10 -18)
Free for Children under 10 years old, veterans and military
