Head to the Hills for a Free Family Golf Fest
Palatine Hills Golf Course is hosting a free family golf fest with games, contests, raffles, and fun on Sunday, May 17 from 2pm to 5pm.
The Head to the Hills Free Family Golf Fest is being held on Sunday, May 17 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Palatine Hills Golf Course, 512 W. Northwest Hwy. This event is open to the community and will include a variety of free games, clinics, contests, and raffles. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The event will include free instructional clinics on the Driving Range including Full Swing Basics at 2:15pm, Fairway Woods and Hybrids at 3:15pm, and Drivers at 4:15pm. The Putting Green will be home to clinics on Putting at 2:45pm, Chipping at 3:45pm, and Bunker Shots at 4:45pm.
Contests will also be held throughout the course grounds. A long drive contest will be held on the 1st tee, a putting contest will be held on the 9th green, a short game contest will be offered on the 6th green, and a closest to the pin contest will be offered on the 7th tee.

The new six-hole FootGolf Course will also be open. Foot golf is a precision sport that combines the games of soccer and golf. Players follow rules similar to golf rules to kick a soccer ball into the 22” hole. Six holes have been laid out at Palatine Hills. FootGolf hours will be Mondays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturdays from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The daily fee for up to three rounds, or 18 holes, of FootGolf is $8 for adults and $5 for juniors. Soccer balls can be rented for an additional $2, and group rates and birthday party packages are available as well.
In addition, lawn advice will be available from our course care professionals and a practice disc golf hole will be set up near the clubhouse. Free raffles and giveaways will be available, and Open Kitchens will be selling food and beverages in the club house.
