HOLY FAMILY INVITES ALL TO “ADVENTURES IN GRACE: a PILGRIMAGE”
Holy Family Parish kick-offs free program exploring ways to deepen faith both individually and collectively.

Holy Family Catholic Community (Inverness) is inviting all to join them on an exciting and enriching spiritual journey that kicks off on November 7th. Called “Adventures in Grace: a pilgrimage”, the program is free of charge and open to all who want to explore and deepen their faith. Through a series of regularly scheduled Masses, shared Wednesday evening “adventures” filled with song, ritual evocative presentations, and periodic “rest stops”, participants will explore ways to define and deepen their faith, both individually and collectively. The journey will delve into the gifts of grace and sacramentality as experienced in everyday life.
“This unique adventure is a result of our staff’s planning and response to a need for spiritual renewal in our community and beyond. A pandemic has brought challenges such as separation and anxiety”, says Fr. Terry Keehan, pastor at Holy Family. “In the midst of anti-religious sentiment, global church challenges, political divisiveness, increased violence, racial tensions, and many secular forces, I think we would all agree that we need to heighten our awareness of the grace that can be manifest when we become more aware of it and seek what it has to offer in these turbulent times”.
People can join “Adventures in Grace: a pilgrimage” at any time and can participate in person, online via Livestreamed sessions, and periodic Zoom gatherings. The program will culminate at Pentecost, 2022 with a “Homecoming” grand finale celebration. Participants are encouraged to bring family members and friends along on the journey, and special modules and activities will be provided for children, teens, and young adults. In addition, specially trained “Grace Guides” will escort participants along the way, providing ongoing support, information, and inspiration.
