Palatine Park District's Hound Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8 will include photo with bunny, eggs, raffle entry, and goody bag

Palatine Park District will host the annual Hound Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8 at 10:00am at Towne Square, 150 W. Palatine Road, Palatine. Check in will begin at 9:30am. This fun and enjoyable event consists of two egg hunts: one for small dogs and one for big dogs.
“People really enjoy spending time with their pets,” said Lisa Schroeder, Special Interests Coordinator for the Palatine Park District. “This is something fun and unique for both the owner and their dog. It’s a great way to get out and enjoy the fresh air, while socializing with many different vendors and dog lovers.”
Pre-registration fee is $7 per dog using program code 140100-01 and will increase to $10 per dog the day of the event. Registration is accepted online at palatineparks.org or in person at Birchwood Recreation Center, Community Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center. A souvenir photo with bunny, eggs filled with treats, a goody bag, and a raffle entry will all be included in the fee. All dogs must be wearing their current rabies and applicable village tags in order to participate in the event. All owners must have a leash and an eye on their dog at all times. Along with the egg hunt, participants will have the opportunity to look around the sponsor area.
