Kathleen Ann Blanck, 49

Kathleen Ann Blanck, 49, of Palatine was embraced by the love and presence of her family when she passed into eternal life on Saturday, Feb. 18. Kathleen will be best remembered for her hugs, her love of kitties, and for the way she touched the heart of every person she met. She lived with her parents her entire life.

The visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 24, from 4:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 25, at the First Presbyterian Church, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights. Interment will be private.

Kathleen was born March 16, 1962, in East Chicago, Indiana.  She graduated from Kirk Center in Palatine and has worked for the past 29 years at Countryside Association for People with Disabilities where she will be dearly missed by the caring staff and her client friends.

Kathleen was the beloved daughter of Bruce and Wendy (nee Dewey) Blanck; loving sister of Karen Blanck and Michael (Natalie) Blanck; loving aunt of Nicole, Hannah and Lee Blanck; dear niece of Alan (Marianne) Dewey and Nancy (Wayne) Huddleston and cousin of their six children Kevin, A.J., Emily, Laura, Jon, and Kim.
