Kirk School Snowshoe Team wins Gold! Going to Galena!

The Kirk School Snowshoe Team sent 5 athletes to the District 13 qualification meet on Saturday, January 7th. All athletes were competing in the 50 and 100 meter races that day, with extreme cold weather on the day of competition. After all Snowshoe races were completed- all 5 Kirk athletes qualified for Winter Games in Galena as they each earned 1 Gold in one of their events. It was a wonderful, joyous feeling to know that all members on the Kirk School Snowshoe team will be going to Galena to compete for the Gold on February 7th and 8th!
