Legion Holds Open House for Renovated Clubroom

American Legion Post 690 is holding an open house as part of the grand reopening for their newly renovated clubroom on December 13th.

The American Legion Post 690 family is holding an open house as part of the grand reopening for their newly renovated clubroom on Friday, December 13th from 6:00 PM until close.

“Our clubroom has been totally renovated and we want to celebrate,” said Gerard Iannuzzelli, Sons of the American Legion Commander. “There will be drink specials, food and a weekend-long raffle with the drawing after the Bear Packer game on Sunday.”

The American Legion Family consists of the American Legion, the Sons of the American Legion (S.A.L.) and Legion Auxiliary. The American Legion and Legion Auxiliary began in 1919 while the S.A.L. was created in 1932 as patriotic veterans organizations devoted to mutual helpfulness. These organizations are committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.
