Leonor Pieniazek, 60, of Palatine.

Services for Leonor Pieniazek will begin with prayers at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 3 at , proceeding to Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness for Mass at 10:30 a.m..  Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.  Visitation will be from 4  p.m.-9  p.m., Friday March 2 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.

Leonor was born on Nov. 9,1951 in Chicago the daughter of the late Jose Maldonado and Eleanor (nee:Salazar) Porto and passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 29 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. 

Survivors include her beloved husband Dennis Pieniazek; loving mother Eleanor Porto; dear siblings Mildred (Richard) Young, Lucille (Rich) Taone, Jose Maldonado, Amelia (Molly) Colon, Holley Colon and John Porto; cherished great aunt of many nieces and nephews; also survived by many aunts, uncles and many dear friends. She will also be especially missed by her 4 dogs Ashland, Julie Ann, Belle and Joey.
