Loaded Stolen Revolver Arrest Made Following Traffic Stop: Palatine PD
A Chicago man had been pulled over at Baldwin and Dundee roads for a traffic violation when police found the gun.

PALATINE, IL — The driver of a car pulled over for a traffic infraction early Wednesday was found to be in possession of a stolen loaded revolver, according to the Palatine Police Department.
Domingo A. Molina, 44, of the 1600 block of N. Karlov Avenue, Chicago, was charged with a felony count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a repeat felony offender.
Molina will remain in the Cook County Jail until his next court appearance on April 20. The Cook County State's Attorney's Office approved the charge.

Palatine police said the stop happened at about 12:39 a.m. in the area of Baldwin Road and Dundee Road after officers saw a gray Mazda sedan commit a traffic violation. Officers made contact with the driver, identified as Molina, and a passenger
During the subsequent investigation, police conducted a search of the vehicle. That search led to the recovery of a loaded .38 caliber revolver, which was later confirmed to be stolen.
