Man Finds $8,000 in Cash Outside Palatine Bank, Returns it
The bag full of money was found in the drive-through area when the bank was closed on Tuesday.
A man who found a bag containing more $8,000 outside of Palatine's Fifth Third Bank chose honesty as his best policy, and returned it, CBS 2 reports.Â
Steven Lee went to make a deposit in the drive-through during non-banking hours Tuesday, at the bank located at 1582 N. Rand Road, CBS 2 reports, and saw the bag of money on the ground, which was the property of a local business.Â
