Man Seen On Video Burglarizing Business: Palatine PD
The 25-year-old Palatine man was charged with a felony following an investigation into the incident.

PALATINE, IL — A 25-year-old Palatine man has been charged with a felony in connection with a commercial burglary last week after police reviewed surveillance footage of the incident.
Kevin Garcia, 25, of the 1400 block of N. Ports O'Call Drive, was arrested by Palatine police on Thursday and taken into custody. Following a detention hearing, he was ordered to be held in the Cook County Jail until his next court date, scheduled for Tuesday.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 4:58 a.m. March 23, at a business in the 500 block of N. Hicks Road.

During the subsequent investigation, it was determined that a person seen on surveillance footage, later identified as Garcia, had made unlawful entry into the business during non-business hours through a ground-floor window. The footage also showed him inside the business removing items.
The felony charge was approved by the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.
