Mark Your Calendars! Palatine Area Events Coming Up this November

There is so much coming up for Palatine area residents to enjoy, so mark your calendar and get involved!!

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their 2nd annual Business Expo and Community Showcase, the Rock on Palatine Singing Contest-hosted by Vicarious Productions and JP Wood MMA will feature local singing talent on the Main Stage at Durty Nellie's, Realtors Against Homelessness (RAH) will host their annual fundraiser to support homeless high students attending D211 schools, the popular Downtown Palatine Business Association (DPBA) Holidays on the Town event will be held in downtown Palatine, followed by the Village of Palatine's tree lighting ceremony. Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo and Community Showcase on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 10am-3pm at Falcon Park Recreation Center: Palatine Chamber of Commerce Hosts this 2nd annual event, featuring more than 60 different businesses and organizations, along with live entertainment, concessions, a 50/50 raffle and more! Rock on Palatine Singing Contest on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 2pm-5pm on the Main Stage at Durty Nellie's - come on out and cheer on the competitors! Now in its 3rd year, the Rock on Palatine Singing Contest was designed to provide a stage for local singing talent! Come out and cheer on the 30 contestants in Junior, Teen and Adult divisions as they compete for cash prizes and bragging rights as the 2017 winners! RAH Hosts Annual Fundraiser to Benefit Homeless Students Who Attend D211 Schools on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 5pm-9pm at Chandler's Banquets: RAH (Realtors Against Homelessness) host a fundraiser each year to provide support to D211 students and families that are experiencing financial hardships and are currently homeless. Tickets can still be purchased online, and include heavy hors d'oeuvres, a drink ticket, silent/live auctions and a live performance from popular local band, 7th Heaven! Learn more here.

The Downtown Palatine Business Association (DPBA) Hosts the Popular, Annual Holidays on the Town Event on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5pm-9pm in Downtown Palatine: This yearly event draws hundreds of attendees who for a $5 Passport can hop on the DPBA Holiday Trolley and travel around the downtown Palatine area visiting the quaint shops, storefronts and businesses! Each location will feature product and service demonstrations, along with wine tastings and hors d'oeuvres at select locations. The Village of Palatine Hosts the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 5pm-8pm in Towne Square: Join Palatine Mayor Jim Schwantz as he welcomes Santa Claus himself who will light the Village tree in honor of the forthcoming holiday season!
