Mary H. Bayer, 83

A memorial service for Mary H. Bayer will be held on a future date and time to be announced at the First United Methodist Church of Palatine, 123 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine.  Interment will be private.

Mary was born on August 15, 1928 in Cambridge, Mass. the daughter of the late William F. and Cornelia A. (Allen) Hester and passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her early Monday, April 30^th at her home. Mary H. Bayer was a resident of Palatine since 1955.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. from DePauw University in 1950, where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was also a Member of P.E.O. chapter EP.

Beloved wife of the late Richard F.; loving mother of Keith W.(Fiancée Debra Citro) Bayer, Donna J. (Lee) Hewitt and James R. (Susan) Beyer; cherished grandmother of David Hewitt, Jennifer (Timothy) Morahan, Kathryn (Jason) Born, Shawn (Natrisha) Bayer, Bradley (Fiancee Beth Spiess) Bayer, MaryFaith Bayer, Alexander, Jonathan and Zachary Beyer, Catherine Galyon; great grandmother of Victoria and Ryan Morahan, Carson Bayer and also expecting another great grandchild in Sept. of 2012; fond sister of Helen Miller, Blanche (Brian G.) Wicke, F. Allen (Elaine Dunbar) Hester and the late William (Lani) Hester; also survived by a daughter in law Debra Marquard, and many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated for the American Cancer Society.
