Menchie's Frozen Yogurt Opens in Palatine

A new frozen yogurt shop has opened in Palatine.

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt opened Monday at 789 East Dundee Road, according to the Menchie’s Facebook page.

The business is offering a week of specials starting Saturday. Here is a look at the week of offers:

• Saturday, July 18: Ribbon cutting with Menchie, free 8 oz. yogurt (from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), free t-shirts to the first 25 guests and a balloon artist
• Sunday, July 19: Free plushie doll to the first 25 guests, free color-in t-shirt, and free face painting beginning at 1 p.m.
• Monday, July 20: Fill up your cup for $1 from 5 to 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, July 21: Kids eat free from 2 to 4 p.m. (one 10 oz. cup per child ages 10 years or younger)
• Wednesday, July 22: Half-off lunchtime yumm from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Thursday, July 23: Free dodge balls to the first 25 guests at 3 p.m.
• Friday, July 24: Date night—Buy one get one free
