Employee, Customer Locate Missing Woman: Police
The duo is being credited with recognizing and quickly reporting the missing elderly woman to police. She is in good condition.

DEER PARK, IL — An alert customer and employee at a Banana Public store are credited with locating a missing elderly woman, authorities said Friday morning. Dolores Catherine Steen-Fahey, 80, reportedly walked away from Solana Assisted Living, 21840 West Lake Cook Road in Deer Park, Friday morning and was reported missing.
Steen-Fahey was found at the Banana Republic in Deer Park, according to a Lake County Sheriff's Office news release sent just before 10 a.m. An employee and customer called 911 after seeing an alert regarding Dolores on social media and then spotting her in the store.
Earlier in the morning, the sheriff's office sent out an alert to media regarding the missing woman, who police say suffers from severe memory loss and was considered endangered.

The elderly woman is being evaluated by paramedics and is in good condition, police said.
"The Lake County Sheriff’s Office thanks the community for their tips and watchful eye, which ultimately led to Dolores being located," according to a statement from the sheriff's office.
