Arlington Heights Motorcyclist Killed in Palatine Car Crash

UPDATE: The accident closed down Rand Road for a time Sunday.

PALATINE, IL — An Arlington Heights motorcyclist traveling near Rand Road and Winslowe Drive was killed Sunday after an accident with a car, the Daily Herald reports.

Corey Hindes, 54, of the 300 block of Knob Hill Drive, was pronounced dead after being taken to Park Ridge's Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. The driver of the Mercedes, the only person in the other vehicle, was not hurt, the report added.

The accident occurred about 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, and part of Rand Road was closed as investigators looked into the crash, the report stated. There is no report if anyone was cited in the accident.
