Musical Matinee to feature Jazz Community Big Band
Jazz Community Big Band will perform at Palatine Park District's annual Musical Matinee event on Sunday, April 26 at 3:00pm.
Palatine Park District presents Jazz Community Big Band in a musical matinee event on Sunday, April 26 at 3:00pm. The concert will be held at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood Street, Palatine, Illinois. All attendees will receive a complimentary goody bag and a raffle ticket. Concert tickets are $7 and can be purchased in person at the box office, by phone at 847-202-5222, or online at www.cuttinghall.org. Online convenience fees will apply.
Jazz Community is an 18-piece big band playing the music of Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Thad Jones, Duke Ellington and many others. The band was established in 1976 by its late founder and director, trumpet player and music educator, Bill May. Enjoy the sounds of big band swing, America’s greatest contribution to music history, during this weekend matinee performance in Palatine.
A limited number of dinner and a show packages are available featuring dinner at Emmett’s Brewing Company in Palatine featuring an all you can eat prime rib and pasta plate. Contact the box office for current availability.
