New Hot Dog Joint Opens in Palatine

Michael's DawgHouse opened recently on Quentin Road in Palatine.

PALATINE, IL - Mike Marras is planning a grand opening celebration next week for his new hot dog joint, Michael's DawgHouse, which opened recently in Palatine.

The Daily Herald reports:

Marras recently opened the fast food eatery at 809 N. Quentin Road in the Quentin Corners Plaza at Northwest Highway. Hot dogs, burgers, Italian beef sandwiches, gyros, appetizers and fries highlight the menu.

The restaurant business is not new for Marras, who ran a similar eatery in Des Plaines about 25 years ago. Marras then ran his own landscaping company, Michael's Lawn Scaping, for about 18 years until the restaurant industry pulled him back in.

The grand opening celebration will be held April 4 through April 9 and hot dogs will be available for 99 cents, according to the article.

MIchael's DawgHouse is open daily from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.
