‘Future Stars’ Event Hits Durty Nellie' Stage Sunday, Nov. 28

Youth bands 'David's House' and 'Collision' will perform 5 - 8 p.m. Performers for future events can submit a demo: engage@vicariousmm.com.

Future Stars – a new event featuring young entertainers on the main stage at the iconic entertainment venue – was a big hit at its first show in October at Durty Nellie's, with nearly 150 people in attendance. The second edition of this family-friendly crowd favorite will once again take place Sunday, November 28 from 5 – 8 p.m. on the main stage at Durty Nellie’s, 180 N. Smith Street in downtown Palatine.

Featured teen bands for the event include ‘David’s House’ and ‘Collision’ – learn more about each of these talented groups below, and purchase tickets online at durtynellies.com for $5 in advance and $10 at the door.

David’s House is made up of eight young stars in the making! All band members are seasoned performers with several years of on-stage experience at a leading local music school. Audience members will enjoy this infectious, high-energy rock/funk bank as they cover favorites from Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Heart, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles and more.

Collision is bringing back ROCK!! This band of five delivers captivating, high-energy performances that transport the audience back to the 90’s and beyond. It’s rock, grunge, and teenage angst with a sprinkle of pop mixed in, as they bring their passion for performing on stage! Covers include the Cranberries, Radiohead, 4 Non-Blondes, Nirvana and other hits.

“My partner Jason Stallard of Love Local-OFF 53 and I are thrilled Future Stars is an instant hit; we certainly struck a nerve in the best of ways by providing an exciting entertainment venue for these budding stars to showcase their talents,” said Melanie Santostefano of Vicarious Multimedia. “It’s all about helping dreams come true for young people who want to be entertainers. We invite local bands and other musical acts to reach out and provide a demo to be considered to perform at a future event.”
