TesserAct Theatre Ensemble brings history, to life in Palatine on January 20 through January 29.
Palatine theater group brings history, to Cutting Hall , in this all ages musical Night-At The-Wax Museum the Musical.
If you enjoyed the hit movie, "Night at the Museum", staring Ben Stiller, as a night guard who deals with historical figures who come to life and wreak havoc, then you'll love this all ages rated G musical. It features an ensemble of zany characters who cause mischief and mayhem in Night-At The-Wax Museum, The Musical. “It's where the historical meets the hysterical.”
School’s out for summer, but not for a group of unlucky students who don’t know much about history — they have to re-take the class in summer school. Their teacher has arranged for them to help The Historical Society Ladies set up their wax museum as a class project.
The Historical Society Ladies want to put the Cultully Wax Museum on the map, while their greedy Landlady, her son and his girlfriend want to sell the Museum to make way for a new mall.

But alas, it is discovered that the late benefactor, Sir Rufus Ravenscroft, has left a treasure somewhere in the Museum. The race is on! Who will find the treasure first? The crooked land lady, or the good-hearted ladies of the Historical Society and their student helpers.
When the wax figures come to life, all bets are off, as Cleopatra, Henry VIII, Blackbeard, his crew of lady pirates, Calamity Jane, Butch Cassidy, The Sundance Kid and host of other memorable characters are competing as well to find the treasure, and they are not taking prisoners!
