Norma C. Kienker, 88, of Palatine, died Jan. 29.
A memorial service for Norma C. Kienker will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. at the , 123 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine, IL 60067. Interment will be private.
Norma was born on Feb. 15, 1923 in Fayette, Missouri to Alexander “Ollie” and Mabel (Young) Innes. She married Kenneth Kienker in 1946. She was a devoted wife for 65 years until his death in August of 2011.

She worked as a homemaker and volunteer for most of her adult life. She was active in the First United Methodist Church of Palatine, in the Young at Heart Group and the Ruth Circle. She taught 2-year-olds in Sunday school for almost 50 years.
Norma is survived by her children Karen (Chad Roush) Kienker of Clive, Iowa, Barbara (Michael) Schuster of Roselle, IL and Paul Kienker of White Plains, New York. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and sons David and Keith.
