PALATINE, IL — Motorists traversing Northwest Highway should anticipate a lane closure for several hours Tuesday due to necessary water main repairs. The Village of Palatine Public Works Department is currently addressing an issue on Northwest Highway at Franklin Avenue. This work specifically affects the eastbound curb lane of Northwest Highway.

According to an 8:43 a.m. traffic alert from the Village, the closure extends from Maple Street to an area east of Franklin Avenue. Traffic eastbound on Northwest Highway will be maintained in the inside lane. Drivers are advised that the work is expected to take several hours to complete.
