NW Suburban Residents: Grab Your Costume and Join the Halloween Hustle 5K

Register now for this family-friendly event now in its 10th year! Run or walk, push a stroller or even bring your dog!

Fall is in the air, and the Halloween Hustle 5K Fun Run and Walk is just around the corner! Join the fun on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in downtown Palatine.

Register now - and don’t forget your costume - for the 5K that runs through through the streets of historic downtown Palatine. Check out the course map here.

Kid’s Dash participants receive a cotton youth t-shirt, bib, goody bag and a pumpkin at the finish line. The dash begins at 8:10 a.m.

The 5K Run/Walk start at 8:30 a.m., and those who participate receive a long sleeve dri-fit shirt and a trick-or-treat bag. View a video of a previous Halloween Hustle 5K!

Medals will be given to the top male and female finishers, and the top three placers in each age group, by gender. Awards also will be given for best individual and group costume. All awards will be given out at the Tap House Grill After Party - where each attendee will receive two complimentary drinks (beer or soft drink) and a half sandwich or wrap.

All of the proceeds from the Halloween Hustle 5k will go directly to benefit Fathers Helping Fathers, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping fathers’ rights in the areas of parenting and raising awareness about the positive influence committed fathers have on the development of their children.

FHF develops educational classes and development programs that help fathers in every aspect of being a parent from pre-birth classes, toddler training, and dealing with teenagers. FHF is also a frontrunner in the struggle to raise awareness about the positive influence fathers have on the development of their children and on the family structure itself.
