Loving mother of Dean (Terri), Traci and Corey Fertel. Cherished grandmother of Isabella and Jacqueline Fertel.

Ellen was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. With her generous heart, she was accepting to all she knew. Whatever challenges came her way, Ellen remained positive, good-natured, and kept her sense of humor. Funny, spirited, and a joy to be around, she will be greatly missed.
Service Tuesday, 1:00 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (One block north of Lake Cook Road) Buffalo Grove. Interment private.
