Obituary: Janet Saltess, 72 of Chicago

Janet Saltess was born on March 10, 1940 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth (nee Howe) Wekerle. She passed away on Sunday, January 27.

Beloved wife of the late Billy Joe Saltess; loving mother of Timothy (Sandy) and William Saltess; cherished grandmother of Samantha, Briana, Matthew and Nikolas Saltess; dear sister of Beverly (Kenneth) Brauer.

Visitation for Janet will be held on Friday, February 1 from 4 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  

The funeral service will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery, Chicago.

In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Janet would be appreciated for the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
