Obituary: M. Patricia Schager of Palatine, Mother of 14 and Grandmother to 37

M. Patricia Schager, nee O'Connor, a resident of Palatine for over 50 years was born in Chicago to her loving parents Thomas and Bridget O'Connor. She passed away on May 29. 

M. Patricia was Class President at Providence High School in Chicago, a college graduate and likely holder of several world records. Extraordinary and selfless, Patricia was devoted to the Catholic faith and her fourteen children, Mari Pat (Tim) McAuliff, Colleen (John) Lachowiez, Anne Marie (John) Nalley, Joseph (Shannon), Christopher (Rene), Daniel (Lili), Thomas (Julianne), Louis (Leslie), Bridget (Victor) Negron, Michael (Danielle), Kerry (Chad) Friesz, James (Jane), Martin (Traci), Kathleen (Fabio) Cavalieri and thirty seven grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Visitation Sunday, June 2, 12-9 PM. Funeral Monday, June 3, 9:30 AM from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy, Palatine to St. Theresa Church, 455 N. Benton Street, Palatine for Mass a 10 AM. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
