Obituary: Paul Kalcsics, 54, of Lake Zurich

Paul Kalcsics, 54, a 20 years resident of Lake Zurich, was born on September 15, 1958 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Edwin and Virginia (nee Kwasek) Kalcsics and passed away on Thursday, March 7th. 

Beloved husband of Cathy nee: (Stressler) Kalcsics; loving father of Christina and Daniel Kalcsics; dear brother of Drew (Janet) Kalcsics; also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Paul was an engineer, gardener, artist, chef and avid music enthusiast. He soaked up every bit of knowledge he could.  No matter what obstacle was placed in front of him he would use his ingenuity and wit to find a solution.  A truly remarkable husband, father and friend and he will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Paul Kalcsics will be held on Tuesday, March 12th from 3:00PM to 9:00PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11:00AM also at the funeral home.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated in memory of Paul for the American Lung Association of Greater Chicago, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 800, Chicago, IL  60601
