What does it take? All you need is a car, or bicycle, or scooter, or rollerblades, or skateboard and a GPS reading smart phone. And, of course a ticket to the game.

This year's Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt! includes zombies, science, music, entertainment, silly and messy scary strange stuff!

The event kicks off on Saturday October 28th 9am at 330 W. Colfax Avenue, Suite 101, Palatine, IL 60067. (west end of the building - look for the decorations)

As usual there will be an awards celebration afterwards with music & entertainment, food, and prizes.

What is this thing? It is an all ages, family friendly, community styled scavenger hunt that uses digital and traditional technology to send players into local participating businesses for an interactive fun activity. And also has the players do light community service work en route.

What it is not! The businesses won't try to sell you anything, they won't give you a brochure or coupon when you go there, and they won't try to entice you to sign up or register to get you to come back. The businesses just want to play. They are taking time out of their busy days for this one day of the year, to just have fun and play.

How to join the fun?! Get a ticket. You can buy them at a local ticket seller in Palatine or online ahead of time.
