Palatine Celtic Girls U10 Comes Out on Top!

The Palatine Celtic U10 Girls Select soccer team won the Mid State Classic Cup in Decatur, Illinois this past weekend. The girls, coached by Coach Castelli, learned how to play with eight players on a larger field with a larger goal. 

Normally, northern Illinois U10 teams play seven versus seven players, but Mid State Illinois U10 teams play eight versus eight.

Palatine Celtic team finished as champions with three wins and one draw.

Next season, all the current players will remain, and will move up to the U11 division for Celtic Soccer. That division utilizes nine players on each team.

Congratulations Palatine Celtic U10 Girls!!! You made your hometown proud!
