Palatine Considers 'Live Room Escape Adventure' Business

The business is proposing to open at 553 E. Dundee Road.

The Palatine Village Council is expected to vote Monday night on whether to allow a “live room escape adventure” business” to move into a strip mall at 553 E. Dundee Road, according to village documents.

The live room escape adventure will “lock” guests in a room and in order to “escape,” they must solve puzzles to discover the clues. The clues will eventually lead to a key that allows them to escape, according to the village board agenda.

The business is hoping to open in a vacant 3.300-square-foot space in the Northwest Shopping Center. The ”escape adventure” would include six rooms for the games and the building would also have an office, conference room and break room, according to the proposed plans.
