PALATINE, IL — The village will honor those who died in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, during a memorial ceremony Sunday, the Daily Herald reports.
Held at 9 a.m. at the Palatine Firefighters Memorial, North Brockway and West Slade streets, the 30-minute event will include a procession of current and retired members of the Palatine Fire Department joined by the department's honor guard, as well as the Palatine Police Department Honor Guard. The march will start at Fire Station 85, 39 E. Colfax St., and end at the memorial.
