Palatine Public Library District celebrates the Oscars with a contest, and three unique programs for adults. “Patrons are always excited for these special Library events, prior to the Academy Awards show,” says Gayle Weyland, Adult Programming Coordinator.
Do you think you can guess the Oscar winners? Look for the Oscar Contest display in the lobby of the Main Library, Monday, February 20 through Sunday, February 26. Guess the winners before the Academy Awards Show on February 26. One lucky winner will receive a prize basket. In the event of a tie, the tie-breaker question determines the winner. Valid adult District cardholders only. One entry form per person. Winner will be notified by Friday, March 3.
Along with the contest, these “star-studded” programs are designed to help patrons enjoy the anticipation of the Academy Awards.
