Palatine Library Food Drive for Township Food Pantry
Food Drive begins December 1 through December 31—coordinates with the Winter Reading Challenge: Read to Feed

Palatine Library is organizing a Food Drive beginning Saturday, December 1 through Monday, December 31, to coordinate with the Winter Reading Challenge: Read to Feed. Throughout the month, bring in nonperishable food items, along with cleaning and personal hygiene products for residents of Palatine Township experiencing food insecurity. The people you help could be your friends and neighbors. Items requested include cereal, coffee, canned chicken, baby wipes and diapers, cleaning products, paper grocery bags, and more. A full list of products needed can be found here: www.palatinetownship-il.gov/programs-assistance/food-pantry/. Drop off items at Main Library Lobby, 700 N. North Court, Palatine.
Spread some more cheer by making and decorating holiday cards on Monday, December 10, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Main Library, for clients of the Palatine Township Food Pantry. All supplies provided. All ages are welcome.
The vision of Palatine Public Library District is to inspire connection, curiosity, and joy. The District serves approximately 90,000 residents predominantly within the communities of Palatine and Hoffman Estates.
