Celebrate StoryWalk®'s Second Year!
Palatine Library Invites You to Celebrate StoryWalk®'s Second Year at Hamilton Reservoir

Palatine Public Library District is excited to announce and invite the public to celebrate the second year of the StoryWalk® Project—a permanent, outdoor storybook—at Hamilton Reservoir, located at 1037 N. Smith Street, in Palatine, on Wednesday, June 12, 10:00 – 10:30 a.m.
This summer, StoryWalk® Project returns with a new story: Mother Bruce by Ryan T. Higgins. StoryWalk® Project is an interactive and delightful way for the whole family to enjoy reading while participating in an outdoor activity together. Pages of the story are displayed in permanent panels on the path and guide you through the story from beginning to end. This installation was created to provide one more way for children and adults to be inspired to cultivate a love of reading and pursue a healthy activity together!
Palatine Library Foundation member Valerie Sherman stated, "We have reached out to local businesses and library partners for the past two years to create and continue this project. We are touched by their support and want to continue this project for local families to enjoy for years to come."
