Palatine Park District Celebrates National Trails Day

In recognition of National Trails Day, the Palatine Park District Environmental Committee is hosting a community clean-up of the Palatine Trail on June 7 from 9am to 12pm. Both individuals and community groups are invited to volunteer to help clean up debris on the trail in and around Tom T. Hamilton Reservoir.  Volunteers should wear work gloves, comfortable closed-toed shoes, and long pants.  Parking will be available in the north lot at Hamilton, 1037 N. Smith Street, Palatine.

Both individuals and groups are welcome to attend. Giveaways, water and snacks will be provided. To volunteer, contact Christine Rice at crice@palatineparks.org or 847-496-6223.
