Palatine Park District and Lavelle Law Host 36th Annual Turkey Trot at Harper College
On Thanksgiving morning, participate in a 2 or 5 mile run and Drumstick Dash for children.

Attracting more than 2,200 participants in recent years, Palatine Park District/Lavelle Law 36th annual Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 24 at Harper College, 1100 Algonquin Road, Palatine. Turkey Trot includes a 2 mile run at 8:00am, a 5 mile run at 9:00am, and a drumstick dash for children up to age 10 starting at 10:00am.
All participants who are pre-registered by November 17 at 7:00pm will receive a complimentary long sleeve tech t-shirt and a goody bag full of information and products from the event sponsors. On-site registrants will receive the shirt and bag if available on the day of the event at Harper College in Building M. Pre-race entry fee is $25.00 and the fee is $30.00 on the day of the race. Participants registering after the November 17 deadline will be charged the day of race entry fee. Proceeds from this event help provide Palatine Park District scholarships.
Group/Team runners of six or more can register for only $20.00 per runner, however, registration must be completed by the pre-registration deadline. Groups may select a team name. Registration for groups/teams is not available online and must be completed in person at Birchwood, Community Center, or Falcon Park by November 17.

This year’s Turkey Trot has been made possible through partnerships with a variety of community businesses including presenting sponsor Lavelle Law, LTD and the following gold level sponsors: AMITA Health, Arlington Toyota, Daily Herald Media Group, Evolve Chiropractic, Loving Care Animal Hospital, Mathnasium of Palatine, New Balance, Palatine Bank and Trust, Palatine Vision Center, and Pie Five Pizza Co. Post-race refreshments are provided by Whole Foods Market–Kildeer.
