Palatine To Consider Plans For Pepboys, Grocery Store Expansion
The Palatine Village Council is expected to consider plans for a Pep Boys at the Monday Village Council meeting.

The will consider plans Monday for a Pep Boys at 315 W. Northwest Highway.
The project previously was recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals on a 7-0 vote. The automotive repair business would be located in the Steven's point shopping center. The Village Council meet at 7 p.m. at 200 E. Wood St.
The business would occupy 5,434 square feet with 12 service bays, according to village documents.

"The business plan submitted states that Pep Boys will perform minor automotive repair including tune ups, tire installation, battery replacement, brake and exhaust system repair, and engine diagnostics," the documents state.
The business will not perform body work, paining or engine transmission replacements.

Also on the Monday agenda are plans to expand Supermercado Guzman, a supermarket located at 1611 N. Baldwin Road.
Supermercado Guzman already occupies two tenant spaces at 1611 N. Baldwin Road. If expansion plans are approved, the supermarket would expand into the third tenant space. The entire shopping center is 6,000 square feet.
The expansion was recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals by a 6-0 vote.
