Palatine Township Apple Tree Campaign-Helping children for 33 yrs
Local at-need children attending kindergarten through 9th grade at D15 and D211 schools receive backpacks with school supplies.

Palatine Township has “kicked off” the 33rd Annual Tree Campaign. We are asking the community to help Palatine Township provide at-need children with new backpacks and school supplies for children attending kindergarten through 9th grade in D15 and D211 school districts. This year the Township will provide pre-registered children with custom packed backpacks at their appointment during the three-day distribution.
Donations are being accepted through July 28, 201 at Palatine Township Center during normal business hours, Mondays from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

“Our Apple Tree Program is successful because of the support and generosity of our Township residents. Getting the children the supplies they need allows them to have a successful start to their school year,” said Supervisor Andy-John G. Kalkounos.
