Palatine Township Supervisor Sharon Langlotz-Johnson said Del Mar was chosen to take over the post due to his extensive qualifications, which include a BA in Public Management, experience as a Village of Palatine councilman, small business ownership, as well as his knowledge and commitment to the community.
