Palatine Woman, 21, Reported Missing
The woman walked away from her residence last week and local authorities are asking for the public's help in locating her.

PALATINE, IL — The Palatine Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 21-year-old woman who was last seen leaving her home on May 21. Emily Truong walked away from her residence in the 200 block of West Johnson Street carrying three bags of luggage.
She said she was headed to the west side of Chicago and it is believed she used public transportation to get there, according to a news release from the Palatine Police Department. After not hearing from her, her family reported her missing on May 26, police said. Police have learned Emily texted her boyfriend on or around May 27 and since then, there has been no further contact.
Emily is 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, according to police. She has black or brown waist-length hair and brown eyes. She has a scar on the back of her left hand and was last seen wearing a black tank top, black leggings, a black windbreaker and black shoes.

Anyone with information about Emily's possible location is asked to call the Palatine Police Department at 847-359-9000 or 9-1-1.
