Palatine's Barb Sorensen performs Civil War Era songs in Stockton, IL Aug 27/28th

Barb Sorensen performs special Civil War Era and traditional German folk music for the Stockton Civil War Re-Enactment "Battle of Morseville" on August 27 & 28th at noon. The show includes tidbits
of history and stories surrounding some of the songs from both the Northand the South.
Friday night the event opens with a "firing" at 7pm. This is a very cool time to sit around the campfire and listen, and share battle stories and sing old songs!!! And, though you might see Barb there, she wont' be
performing the official concert then, only campfire songs. The official
concert takes place on Saturday 12:00 pm and also on Sunday 11:00 a.m.
Tickets are $5 at the door, the Saturday night firing, bonfire and sing-a-long is free.
