Panera to Open at Dundee, Rand Roads
A lot that has sat vacant at the busy intersection will soon be home to a new Panera.

A Panera Bread restaurant will be built at the corner of Rand and Dundee roads in a lot that has sat vacant for the past five years, the Daily Herald reports.
The location, which was formerly the site of Idols Sports Bar and Grill, will also house two more buildings meant for office and retail use, according to the article.
Idols was closed in 2010 after its owner Michael Koumandarakis was convicted of committing a felony and could no longer hold a liquor license, the newspaper reports.
