Passing of Rural Fire Protection District Trustee Causes Board Vacancy

Palatine Township mourns the passing of one of its trustees on the Palatine Rural Fire Protection District board last December, Robert Brumbaugh , of Inverness.

Robert passed away in Florida while on business. He is survived by his daughters, Alison and Ashley.

“Rob’s family has been in our prayers during this painful time.” said Palatine Township Supervisor, Sharon Langlotz-Johnson. “Rob was a generous man who always was where he was needed. He dedicated himself to the residents of the Fire District to provide the service they expected, within the means they provided.” “I personally was honored to call Rob a friend, and he will be forever missed.”

The trustee seat that was held by Brumbaugh now must be filled.
